Who I am

My name is Pierre and I am an Alsatian citizen and a real fan of Alsace.

From 2020 I am making private day tour in Alsace and the Upper Rhine Vallee. I lived in Alsace since 2010. I was born at 1 hour driving from Strasbourg in Lorraine, and after my studies, made in tourism industry, I moved in Strasbourg to work.

And you know what, I never wanted to go back in Lorraine. Why?

Because Alsace is a so nice place to live, full of traditions, restaurants, bar, winemakers, vineyards, mountains, beautiful landscape, nearby Germany, Switzerland, with a lot of international airports to travel.

I am really in love with Alsace. I am a real wine lover so here I am very happy. Let me drive you through Alsace and show you my favorite places.

Spectacular is the first word jumps to mind when thinking of our day out and about with Pierre! He is an incredible guide and an absolute joy to spend a day with in his beloved Alsace. He took us to three beautiful villages to see Christmas markets, and threw in a couple of extra bonuses, including a delicious lunch at a great restaurant in a little spot above Colmar and a quick visit to his charming hometown, which has a very interesting twist on the history of Christmas. Our day with Pierre was a true highlight of our visit to the area. Would certainly do another tour with Pierre next time we're in Alsace. Thank you for creating a magical memory!

We just left the beautiful Alsace region of France with wonderful memories to take home with us. Most of this was made possible by our guide and driver, Pierre. His knowledge of the area and its history was impressive. He recommended the best markets and restaurants to visit, and he was flexible if we wanted to make a change or two. Leaving is bittersweet, but we will return to lovely Riquewihr and for sure will contact our new friend, Pierre. The experience was a PERFECT 10!

My Mom and I had a wonderful time with Pierre. He is so kind and has a great knowledge for the best places and markets to visit. My Grandpa was in WWII so he also showed us some sights in Alsace regarding the war that were interesting. I’m so happy to have seen things we never would have known about without Pierre. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 6 visiting Strasbourg after Porto. At Frankfurt airport we opted for Pierre Papuga’s 7 seater minivan airport transfer instead of Lufthansa’s coach service or the TGV. We were warmly greeted by Pierre whom we found to be extremely friendly, patient and passionate in ensuring that our 3 day stay in Strasbourg would be an enjoyable experience! Under his care n guidance, we visited Heidelberg enroute Strasbourg and the numerous neighbouring villagers during our stay. We were deeply impressed by his knowledge of the Alsace region, it’s historical development and all the fascinating sights at the villages we visited. For those with interests in wine and vineyards visits, we think Pierre will be an ideal guide due to his knowledge and passion for the wines in the region. We find Pierre extremely helpful and patient in his interactions with us and highly recommend him to those interested in visiting the Alsace region! Mark Foo, Singapore.
